Paul D. Morton born October 10,1934 passed into his Saviors arms October 11, 2016.
He passed peacefully while holding his soul mate, best friend and beloved wife’s hand at 11 am.
He is survived by his wife Rita Morton, Paula Listle, Robert & Sandy Richards, Mike & Sally Bryan and Rob & Jackie LaPlante , Brothers & Sisters and many wonderful grandchildren.
Paul did many things in his life, was always kind and generous, giving the shirt off of his back to someone in need. He went to Peri Bible College, and taught Sunday school on a regular basis. He worked in the shipyard for a while but most of his career was as a lineman for the phone company.
The most important thing we can tell you and what Paul would want you to know is that; Paul lived his life for his Savior, Jesus Christ.
The bible says in John 14:6
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
If you knew Paul, you know he lived his life sharing the gospel in the most humble ways. Just having a talk with him you didn’t realize that you were getting your very own Sunday school lesson about Jesus. When you were with him, he made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. He would want you to know that you have to ask Jesus into your heart to be saved, study the bible to Learn Gods way and walk in the truth.
Paul loved to sing worship songs and had too many to list, but here is just one that shows Paul’s heart
It is well with my soul:
Grander earth has quaked before, Moved by the sound of His voice
Seas that are shaken and stirred, Can be calmed and broken for my regard
Far be it from me to not believe, even when my eyes can't see
And this mountain that's in front of me, Will be thrown into the midst of the sea
Chorus
Through it all, through it all, My eyes are on You
Through it all, through it all, It is well with me
So let go my soul and trust in Him, The waves and wind still know His name
It is well with my soul, It is well with my soul, It is well with me
Paul was a faithful and true servant of Jesus Christ even with his dying breath. Well done my good and faithful servant!
