Washington friends:
Paul was preceded in death by his Wife Teresa, his eldest brother Laverne Merrill Perkins, and his younger brother Terry Perkins.
He was born in Lincoln Nebraska. After Graduating high school, Paul entered the Navy. Paul was enlisted until he retired.
Later on moved to Port Orchard, Washington, where he eventually met his wife Teresa and resided there until his untimely death. Paul loved riding his Goldwing, flying remote control air planes and helicopters or putting together electric trains and cars were his hobbies, as well as good meal.
Paul had many professions while being enlisted. He worked as a (Sea Bee, military police, and a heavy crane operator).
Paul had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He was often spending his spare time researching topics of interest or reading books on computer repairs. He enjoyed watching his favorite shows, which consisted of old westerns and ridiculousness. We spent hours laughing while watching ridiculousness.
Paul was never scared to take on new opportunities and did everything with honesty and integrity. He had very strong biblical values and was well liked by everyone, mostly due to his positive energy. Paul had incredible patience, and always made time to help others, and donate to St. Jude’s, He would say it all comes back to us.
His legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes. We choose to live a life of meaningful acts of love and service, like Christ modeled for us.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to Sharmy, who was there for my father throughout his fight with cancer. She would show up on a daily basis to clean and cook for my father as needed. We truly thank her for help and support for Paul during his tough times.
