Paul J. Rogers of Port Orchard, Washington died of cancer at his home on July 18, 2004. He was 89. He was born June 17, 1915 in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania to James and May (Brooks) Rogers. Paul married Genevieve (Dacre) Rogers May 28, 1965 in Tacoma, Washington. He served in the Army/Navy from 1944 - 1952 - being awarded numerous medals and letters of accomdations. Paul worked as a Field Service Engineer - retiring in 1984. He traveled throughout the World (USA and Europe). Paul was Catholic. He is survived by daughters - Carol Lancaster of Ponce Inlet, Florida, Laura Diamond of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Arlene Elvrom (step-daughter) of University Place, Washington; 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard, Washington.
