Penny Lea Hollar passed away peacefully on January 31, 2019 in Port Orchard, WA due to complications of her long-term battle with diabetes.
She was born on February 16, 1951 in Port Angeles, WA to Larry and Helen Farnsworth and is survived by her husband David of 22 years and daughters Kristin Rees of Bellevue, WA. Kara (Kody) Sexton of Port Orchard, WA. Whitney (Brian) Roberts of Snohomish, WA. Jordan (James) Markert of Lynnwood, WA. and her 8 beautiful grandchildren whom adored her.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother that was always there when you needed her.
Penny will always be remembered for her many years serving as dental office manager in the greater South Kitsap area.
Penny loved to be creative - designing and making jewelry for her family and friends in her home studio. She had an eye for design as well... always assisting her daughters and friends with their home décor.
Penny had a beautiful inner spirit that radiated like sunshine over everyone she encountered. She will be immensely missed by all that loved her.
She loved peonies in bloom in the early springtime, a great wine, uplifting music and travelling by RV up and down the West Coast of the US and Canada.
Joy for her was driving down a country road in Napa, CA in her blue convertible, with the top down and the sun shining, singing along with a CD of her favorite songs.
