Peter Sean Rayburn age 35, son of Margaret and Harlan and brother to eight siblings was taken from us suddenly while at home by a major heart attack November 8th, 2006. A graduate of Bremerton High and the Art Institute of Seattle. He resided in Kitsap County where he married his high school sweetheart, Leanne, in 1995. He worked as superintendent for Chaffee Homes and had been with the company since 1993. His passion was snowboarding. His perfect day was a blue-bird sky and an empty parking lot at Crystal Mountain in pursuit of those "freshee-fresh, pow-pow, face shots" and hiding in the trees. Whether with a buddy fishing on the Puget Sound; bike riding into the night in Banner Forest; or hiking the trails of the Olympic Mountains, he had a lust for life, nature and loved being outdoors. He was a "rockaholic"/guitar enthusiast and music was an important part of his life. In his down time he enjoyed concerts; jamming at home on his strat or sharing a circle with his friends. A tried and true green and blue-blooded Seahawk fan, many of his Sundays were spent at the game losing his voice cheering on the Hawks. Always able to laugh at his "great" scoring for his Wednesday night bowling league, he was on the road to greatness . . . 'that's a buck'. Pete was quick with a smile, gentle and kindhearted to those who shared his life. Although his glass was seemingly half empty he was always willing to raise it to be filled again for some good times at the Hat. His wife, family and friends will be forever thankful to have shared in his short but spirited life. He would not want you to mourn but rather celebrate the memories you have and he will live on through us all. Services will be held Sunday November 26th 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Rill Chapel's in Port Orchard with a reception following.
