Phyllis J, Coiner was born on June 21, 1950 in Renton, Washington. Her parents were Fay and Gene Coiner. She lived most of her life in Bremerton Washington and attended West High class of 1969. She has two siblings Janice Doyle and John Zell. She Married Michael Daly on May 15, 1982. She has two children, Leslie Waits of Spokane and Deborah Kong of Bremerton. She has four grandchildren, Alisha Waits, Christian Waits, Jessica Kong and Tina Kong. She passed away from Leukemia on October 31, 2015.
Over her lifetime she had a few different jobs. Worked in the Post Office in Seattle in the early 70s, working at Pizza Haven in the early 80's in Bremerton, then finally becoming a Florist for over 25 years working in Port Orchard and finishing up by semi-retiring at Paul's Flowers in Bremerton.
She loved to travel, dig for fossils, sew, read mysteries and cross-stich. She loved to take picnics with her husband. They would often drive for hours to just sit in a beautiful spot, eat lunch, chat and head back home enjoying the drive and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She loved her family and friends. She was quick to smile and laugh and was easy to love. She was brave all throughout her illness and never let it change her. She will be missed every day and will always be on our minds and in our hearts.
Feel no guilt in laughter,
she'd know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile
that she is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever;
she would not want you to.
She'd hope that you could carry on
the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times
and the way you showed you cared,
The days you spent together,
all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you,
a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time,
an hour, a day,
That brings her back as clearly
as though she were still here,
And fills you with the feeling
that she is always near.
For if you keep those moments,
you will never be apart
And she will live forever
locked safe within your heart.
Services will be held for her on Saturday Nov 7th at 2pm at Crosby Chapel in Seabeck.
