Phyllis Joann Lancaster

Phyllis (JoAnn) was born Sept. 1, 1931 to Newell and Nora Lee Janes near Mt. View, Oklahoma. She was a farm girl and attended schools in Washita and Kiowa counties. On January 22, 1950 she married Kenneth (Bill) Lancaster. In June 1951 Bill & JoAnn moved to Port Orchard, WA. JoAnn opened Long Lake Ceramics in the 1970’s and enjoyed the friends neighbors she got to know better before her and Bill moved to Moses Lake, WA in the 1990’s. Bill and JoAnn moved back to Port Orchard to be closer to family. Jo Ann enjoyed gardening, embroidery and reading. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis of Port Orchard, son Greg (Kimmie) also of Port Orchard and daughter Cheryl (Bruce) of Graham, WA. She enjoyed her five grand-children, three great grand-children and one great-great grand-daughter. Also surviving JoAnn is sister Patsy (Russ) and numerous nieces and nephews. At JoAnn’s request, no services will be held.
