Priscilla Paradis

January 16, 1925 — August 10, 2012

Priscilla ‘Phyllis’ Paradis, 87, a resident of Port Orchard, died August 10, 2012 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton of natural causes. She was born to Leslie and Goldie (Grewell) Morgan on January 16, 1925 in Portland, OR. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1943 and married Fredlin ‘Freddy’ Paradis on November 3, 1946 in Tacoma. She was a devoted homemaker and also an animal lover, especially her 22lbs. cat Joey.  She worked part time at the front desk at Kitsap Veterinary Hospital and later at the Peninsula Spay and Neuter Clinic. She also loved to volunteer at the Harrison Medical Center Gift Shop.  She loved making crafts and jewelry, going to craft shows, camping and the Mariners. Square dancing was also a big part of her life. She is survived by her loving husband Freddy; sisters-in-law Lorraine Price of NH and Yvone Morgan (Richard). Nieces and Nephews Denise, Steven  and Terri of WA, Shelly of AL, Jacqueline, Jill, James and John of NH, Jennifer and Tom of FL,  Joanne of VA and many great nieces and nephews as well as special friend Kay Richards. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard. Celebration of her life will be Friday, September 21, 2012 at Rill ‘s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard at 3:30 pm.
