Ralph Berggren

Ralph Leonard Berggren, 68 of Port Orchard, Washington died December 27, 2000 at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, Washington. Ralph was born December 30, 1931 in Seattle to Lars and Alice (Bradseth) Berggren.Mr. Berggren attended Bothell High School in Seattle where he graduated in 1949. Ralph married Jane Eberharter on August 22, 1958 in Seattle, Washington. He attended the University of Washington where he graduated in 1962. He was in the Naval Air Reserve.Ralph worked for Pacific Northwest Bell for 32 years upon retiring in 1983. Among his many interests he enjoyed golf, fishing, his family and the Christian Outreach.Surviving are his wife; sons Fritz W. and wife Sandi Berggren of Miami, Florida; Eric Berggren of Seattle, Washington; Ralph A. Berggren of Bellevue, Washington; daughter Alice J. and husband Scott Strong also of Bellevue and 4 grandchildren.Funeral services will be Saturday December 30, 11:00am at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, Washington with interment at Sunset Lane Cemetery also in Port Orchard.
