Ramona Hedstrom

Ramona H. Hedstrom, 79, of Bremerton, formerly of Belfair, died September 7, 2002 at Belmont Terrace Canvalescent Center in Bremerton. She was born June 23, 1923 in Alice, N.D., to Joseph and Mary (Rominski) Hartl and educated in Alice, N.D. She married Clarence Hedstrom on June 13, 1944 in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Hedstrom had worked as a sales clerk at J.C. Penny in Bremerton. She enjoyed crochet, bowling, and being a grandmother. She was a member of the Sons of Norway and Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair.Survivors include a son- Perry Hedstrom and his wife Marci, of Bremerton; a daughter- Paulette Cady and her husband, Don, of Belfair; two sisters- JoAnn Hansen of Fargo, N.D. and Jackie McManus of Lake Park, Minn.; 4 Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother- Rodney Hartl and a sister-Eleanor Szczepanski.A memorial service will be 11am on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Belfair.
