Ramona Lieseke

Ramona Jean Lieseke, 80, died in Port Orchard on January 20, 2009.  She was born November 18, 1928 in Buffalo, OK to Steve & Lela (Dewey) Powell.  She attended High School in Mount Vernon, WA. Ramona retired after 22 years working for the Naval Exchange at Naval Subase Bangor and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard, dancing, and listening to music. Surviving are sons Steve Adkins (Seyneva) Lieseke of Port Orchard, Boyd (Jan) Lieseke of Seattle, & Bill (Kathy) Lieseke of Port Orchard; daughters Vickie (Don) Bruno,  Linda Schroy of Linden, WA, & Kim Lieseke of Port Orchard; ex-husband Kendall Lieseke of South Colby (father of Steve, Boyd, Bill & Kim); brother Bill Powell, and best friend Erick Kiegley; 10 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by granddaughters Heather & Cimone, and grandson Russell. Graveside service at 1:00 pm January 26th at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.  Memorial donations to Gospel Mission or Food Bank of Port Orchard or Compassionate Friends of Silverdale.
