Randall Pote

Randall I. Pote, 84 of Olalla, Washington died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington on February 25, 2000.  He was born in Fontanelle, Iowa on March 29, 1915 to Cleo A. & Bertha (McLain) Pote.  He was raised in Iowa and graduated from Adair High School in Adair, Iowa.  Randall married Hazel E. White in 1938 in Missouri.  She preceded him in death on January 25, 2000.Mr. Pote retired as a Marine Engineer after 50 years of employment.  He served in the U. S. Army from 1944 to 1947 with the Army Engineers in the Pacific Theater.Surviving are his son Michael Pote of Olalla, Washington; 3 sisters; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son Stephan Pote, daughter Pamella Mangus, and brother John Pote.A Graveside Service is planned March 4, 2000 at 1:00 PM at Fraola Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington.
