Randy Cartmill

Randall "Randy" Scott Cartmill 52 of Port Orchard went to be with his heavenly father on February 28, 2009.  He was born February 6, 1957 in Anchorage AK to Eddie & Joann Cartmill. He graduated in 1975 from South Kitsap HS. Randy proudly served in the US Marine Corps and was a Pipefitter at PSNS in Shop 99. His loves in life were hunting, fishing, football, coaching little league baseball and all of his grandchildren. Surviving are sons Brandon (Suzanne) Cartmill of Eden Prairie, MN, Travis (Holly) Cartmill  of Ellensburg WA; daughters Randi Cartmill (Beau Purdy) of Yakima WA & Betsy (Manual) Cartmill-Lopez of Ellensburg WA; long time companion Marcia Brown of Port Orchard; former wife Betty Hawkins of Port Orchard; stepsons Kelly (Tammy) Brown of Orting WA & Chris Brown of Arlington WA; grandchildren Erik , Anthony,  Ellieanna , Tatum, Aiden  & Undine; brother Edward (Catherine) Cartmill of LaConner, WA; sister Jessica Cartmill Nichols of Ellensburg, WA; and 8 nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ricky Harrison Cartmill. Visitation  from 10am to 4:00pm on March 5, 2009 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard WA.   Memorial service at 2pm on March 6th at First Lutheran Church of Port Orchard.   Memorial donations to Seattle Children’s Hospital Pulmonary Unit.  Online memorial at www.rill.com
