Randy Johnson

Mr. Randy G. Johnson, Age: 44, resident of Port Orchard, Washington, died on October 3, 2001 due to complications of cancer, at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington.Randy Johnson was born on December 29, 1956 in Westwood, California to Gilbert and Glenelle (Walton) Johnson. He attended Central Kitsap High School in Silverdale, Washington. On July 26, 1980, Randy married Coreen Haydock in Silverdale, Washington. He spent twenty plus years working as a Construction Superintendent for commercial construction. Randy enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a member of Christ The Rock Church in Port Orchard.He is survived by his wife, Coreen, of the family home; parents, Gilbert and Glenelle of Charlotte, North Carolina; sons, Joshua and Dustin Johnson of Port Orchard; daughter, Bekah, of Port Orchard; brothers, Steve Johnson of Saint Louis, Missouri; Doug Johnson of Silverdale; Barry Johnson of Port Orchard; Gordy Johnson of Neah Bay, Washington; sister, Melissa Varley of Charlotte, North Carolina; and grandmother, Bobbie Walton of West Point, California.A memorial service will be held at Christ the Rock Community Church on Monday, 10-08-2001 at 12:00 p.m.. Pastor Dwight Kennedy will be officiating. Private Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton. There will be a reception held at Christ The Rock Community Church following the memorial.Arrangements are under direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home, Rill Chapel, in Port Orchard.
