Ray Pridemore

Ray Pridemore, 67, died at his home in Port Orchard, Washington on February 11, 2001. He was born in Mallie, Kentucky on September 11, 1933 to Russell & S. Opal (Collins) Pridemore. Ray married Adna Conway on January 12, 1957 in Kentucky. She preceded him in death in 1995.Mr. Pridemore served in the U. S. Navy for more than 20 years as an Aviation Boatswain Mate. He retired in 1976 as a Chief Petty Officer. Ray enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Fleet Reserve.Surviving are son C.R. ''Bud'' Pridemore of Bellevue, Nebraska; daughter DeRhonda Porter of Oak Harbor, Washington; and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Rex Pridemore.No services are planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Kitsap Unit, P.O.
