Ray Wesley Sammeli

Ray Wesley “Butch” Sammeli,, 68 of Bremerton, WA, passed away on Oct 14, 2015 at his childhood home in Bremerton. Ray was born in Bremerton on October 28, 1946 to Wesley E. and Ann E. (Nuttbrock) Sammeli. After his return from Vietman, he worked for the moving and storage business for over 40 years as a warehouseman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Debbie Roberts & Mary Sammeli; and son Gregory B. Sammeli. He is survived by his wife Betty A (Kramer) Sammeli; sons Troy Cousins, Raymond G. Sammeli, Mike Bell, Mark Bell; and daughters Torrie Prante, Sheila (Sammeli) McCoy, and Sandra L (Sammeli) Rice.

Services will be held at Rill’s Life Tribute Center at 11:00 am on October 23, 2015 with military Graveside Service following at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard. A reception will follow at F.O.E. Hall on Jackson in Port Orchard. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Gregory B. Sammeli Scholarship Fund at Connection Credit Union.
