Raymond Anthony Blas Cruz “Hulkster or Boboy” born on the beautiful island of Guam on July, 2001 and was granted his angel wings on November 28, 2015 in Port Orchard, WA. Boboy’s 14 years of life was surrounded by family and friends that he had touched in ways throughout his short, yet very memorable life. His contagious smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his smile was felt, heard and seen. His smile was as bright as the sun. Boboy’s life seemed too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. With his life, each day was a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. He could spend hours sitting in his favorite chair and although he never spoke you could certainly see that he enjoyed music. He’d cruise from one town to another while his Mom drove to any Chamorro functions attending baby showers to weddings or spending the weekend with Uncle Gil and Auntie Carol whether it rained or snowed. Through his teachings about life, we were able to create wonderful memories. Our pictures of him with family and friends are now our lasting memories that will always be cherished. With Boboy’s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will love and miss him every day, especially his beautiful smile, he will forever remain in our hearts.
Boboy leaves behind many wonderful bus drivers, east Port Orchard classmates (Beth Ng’s class), teachers from the South Kitsap School District, Medical Specialists at the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital, Health Care Agencies (Care Plus and Avail) and Olympic Pharmacy who have provided their love and support in his life. He will also be missed by all of these special people, too numerous to mention, who provided Boboy with love and dignity in his life.
Hulkster leaves behind all of his wonderful memories to be cherished by his parents Kathy & Raymond; siblings Justin, Jared, Jordan, Myra, Sasia & Tairah; maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Jose Blas of Yona Guam; paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Jesus Cruz of Washington; Papa Frankie and Mama Lorie Matanane of Port Orchard, WA; numerous Aunts, Uncles, God Parents, Nieces, Nephews and cousins.
