Regina (Phelps) Burleson, 86, of Port Orchard died Tuesday of natural causes. She was born in Issaquah to Martin A. and Ethel (Donahoe) Hines. She sold Avon products for several years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Burleson was a member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, the Alter Society and the Active Club. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Phelps; second husband, Edgar Burleson; sons, James and Butchy Earl Phelps; and brothers, Vincent and James Hines. She is survived by her sons, Michael Phelps (Patty), and Stephen Phelps (Teresa); daughters, Mary Ann Barrett (Isaac), Regina Metcalf (Steve), Delores Baldwin (Steve), and Kelly Rogers (Mike); sisters, Ethel Marzolf (George); and Theresa Winslow (Bud); 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Rosary: 7 p.m. March 17 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Mass: 11 a.m. March 18, same location.
