Remedios C. Aragon, 93, passed away on February 1, 2025, in Port Orchard, Washington.
Born on November 28, 1931, Remedios earned her Bachelor of Education from the National Teachers College in Manila. She dedicated her career to teaching and later worked as a dietician and cook at Ridgemont Terrace. She was an active member of the Filipino American Association and a devout Roman Catholic.
Remedios found joy in cooking, crocheting, and participating in prayer groups. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and friends, often enjoying bingo, casino outings, and traveling. Her unwavering faith and gentle spirit brought comfort to all who knew her.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: Noemi Becker (Jerry), Noe Jr., Noeli Thomes (Joyce), Noel (Mindy), Norine Partida (Flavio), and George; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her sister Corazon Ubando. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Noe Aragon; her son, Renoe Aragon; her parents, Leonardo and Lucretia Cerezo; her siblings Rebecca Borromeo, Cleotilde Venus, Leonardo Cerezo Jr., and Nestor Cerezo.
A viewing will be held at St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church on February 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m.
Remedios embodied kindness, wisdom, and grace. Her strength of faith never wavered, and she welcomed all with warmth and understanding. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched.
