Reverend Harry L. Armstrong, 85 of Port Orchard died February 3, 1999 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton.  He was born February 9, 1913 in Bremerton to George W. & Effie (Flux) Armstrong.  He married Larlie A. Mallette on June 27, 1937 in Aberdeen, Washington.  She preceded him in death in 1993.  Mr. Armstrong worked as a Shipfitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard retiring in 1978.  Previously he worked in Aberdeen for 12 years in a paper mill.  He was ordained in 1994 as a minister with the Conservative Evangelical Association in Bremerton.Surviving are his daughter Phyllis Armstrong of Sunnyslope and 2 grandchildren Summer & Danielle Young. Visitation on Tuesday, February 9th from 9AM to 2 PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard, and Graveside service at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard on February 9th at 3PM.
