Richard Eldon Huff Born 3 August 1922 died 15 Dec. 2014 in Silverdale, Wa. A longtime resident of Port Orchard,
Mr. Huff is survived by his beloved wife Clarice (Kelly) Huff: Nee-Green, Daughter Carolyn Huff of Lake Oswego, OR. Sons Steven of Seabeck, WA, and Neil of Sitka, Alaska, 10 Grandchildren
and 9 Great- Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Finley Huff, Alice
Josephine Stinnet; brothers Ray, Kenneth, George, Walter, Everett, Marion, and son George Allen Huff. Mr. Huff had retired at age 84 from Commercial Fishing in Alaska and had built
his last of four fishing vessels the 58’ Seiner Kalliste in Port Orchard at his home. He served
in the US Marine Corps from 1940 thru 1946 seeing action in the invasions
of Tinian, Okianawa and Saipan, where he was the recipient of the purple heart. Mr. Huff also was a life-long member of the Second Marine Division Association.
