"Rick" Burrell

"Rick" Richard Mathew Burrell of Belfair, Washington died July 21, 2006 at his home. He was 55. He was born September 24, 1950 in Aberdeen, Washington to Richard Lynn Burrell and June Rose (White) Burrell. Rick graduated from North Mason High School in Belfair in 1968; and attended Western Washington University; and, received a 2 year business degree in computers from ITT. He married Catherine Marie (Barton) July 15, 1998 at Elanden Garden, Gorst, Washington. Rick worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Washington Mutual for 20 years. He worked for Washington Mutual in Seattle, Washington from 1986 - 2006; Seafirst in Seattle, Washington through 1986; Northwest in Seattle, Washington; and, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Marie (Barton) of the Belfair, Washington family home; parents - Richard Lynn and June Rose Burrell of Belfair, Washington; son - Courtney Andrew Burrell of Belfair, Washington; daughter - Miranda Rebecca Thygesen (Ryan) of Belfair, Washington; brother - John Randolf Burrell of Belfair, Washington; sisters - Becky Lynn Burrell (Sandy) of Portland, Oregon, Joan Francis Nelson (Don) of Whidbey Island, Washington, Kerry June Abbott (Mike) of Chehalis, Washington; 2 grandchildren: Keegan MacMillian Thygesen and Kezlie Rose Thygesen - both of Belfair, Washington. A funeral service will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the funeral at Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair, Washington on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 (graveside at 3:30).
