Robert Anderson

Robert "Bob" Anderson of Port Orchard, Washington died of natural causes at his residence February 21, 2004. He was 83. He was born in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho February 25, 1920 to Charlie and Annie (Emery) Anderson. He married Lois (Allee) Anderson. Bob graduated from Coeur d' Alene High School in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho in 1938. He worked 23 years as a marine pipefitter for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard - retiring in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, boxing and family. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard, Washington. Bob is survived by sons - Bob Anderson, Jr. of Fife, Washington, John Anderson of Gig Harbor, Washington; step-sons John and Patrick and David Allee all of Port Orchard, Washington; daughters - Lynn Testterman of Seattle, Washington, Mary Hagen of Tacoma, Washington; step-daughters - Ruth Nelson, Jean Randall of Bremerton, Washington and Karen Allee of Port Orchard, Washington; 23 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson - Christopher Anderson in 1984. A visitation will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on February 27, 2004. A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center at 2:00 p.m. on February 27, 2004. Interment will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park, also in Port Orchard, Washington, following the service on February 27, 2004. Memorial Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
