Robert G. Bell of Port Orchard, Washington died of heart failure in Bremerton, Washington on August 1, 2004. He was 66. He was born in Houston, Texas on November 28, 1937 to Alfonzia and Mercy (Cole) Bell. Robert married Celia Torres 41 years ago. He graduated from high school in Long Beach, California. Robert served in the U.S. Navy for 24 years - attaining rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. He retired in 1980. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Tacoma for 10 years - retiring in 2002. Robert is survived by his wife - Celia (Torres) Bell of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; son - Rodolfo Bell of Bremerton, Washington; daughters - Adoracion T. Valerio of Alaska, Theresa Hueston of New Jersey; brothers - Vernon Bell of Sacramento, California, Alfonzia Bell, Jr. of Tacoma, Washington; sisters - Julian Bell, Connie Bell and Rosalie Bell - all of Sacramento, California; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son - Robert Bungarian Bell, Jr. in 2001, father - Alfonzia Bell, mother - Mercy D. (Cole) Bell. Visitations will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on August 3, 2004 from 12 noon - 5:00 p.m., on August 4, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., August 5, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard, Washington on August 5, 2004 at 3:00 p.m.
