Robert “Bob” Lindall was born June 20, 1944 in Port Orchard, WA, to Anna Marie (Parkins) and Harry Frank Lindall. He was the middle child of 3, along with older sister, Anna and younger sister, Darlene.
As a young boy he delivered newspapers in Port Orchard, and later worked at the Texaco gas station on Bay Street. He attended Givens Elementary, Marcus Whitman Jr High and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1963. He joined the U.S. Air Force that same year. After basic training and tech school in Texas he was stationed at Sundance AFS, Wyoming, Perrin AFB, Texas, Korat RTAFB, Thailand (during the Vietnam war), Hickam AFB, Hawaii, Los Angeles (serving on ROTC duty at Loyola Marymount), Fairchild AFB, Spokane, WA, Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, Alaska and then retired from Los Angeles Air Force Base in 1988.
He married his wife, Diane (Durian) whom he met while stationed in Los Angeles in 1987. They moved to Olalla, WA in that year. In Nov of 1988 his only child, Anna Marie Lindall was born in Bremerton, WA. After being a stay at home dad for 6 months, he was hired at Defense Contract Management Agency working at Boeing in Kent, WA. He later was transferred to Bellevue. After suffering a massive heart attack he retired in 2008.
Bob enjoyed working in his garden, working on old cars, making candles, watching NASCAR and the Seattle Mariners on TV. He also enjoyed going to Tacoma Rainiers games and playing bingo in Olalla.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Anna Lindall, and his sister, Anna Lindall Thompson. He is survived by his wife Diane, his daughter Anna, his sister Darlene Lindall Blythe, nephew James Blythe and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life Service at 2:30 pm on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Lane Memorial Park, also in Port Orchard.
