Robert John Cohen, 68, of Port Orchard, died peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 9, 2013. He was born on December 4, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Washington State in 1973 where he worked and retired from the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
Bob was a gifted man and loved gardening, working on multiple house projects, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and playing with his dog, Molly. He was also a photographer and captured every memory that came his way.
He is survived by his life long companion and true love; wife Margaret Cohen; sons Rob Cohen and wife Francie Cohen; John Cohen and wife Kim Cohen; daughters; April Nutsford, Jorge Nutsford and Amy McCann and husband Shawn McCann, grandchildren Sabrena and Daymon Cohen; Corey and Taylor Nutsford; Haley and Hannah McCann.
He fought a good fight, he kept faith, and bravely confronted and fought cancer for many years. He always told us to “fight hard, and keep your eye on the ball.“ Memorials may be made payable to Alaska USA FCU, in the name of Robert J Cohen.
