Robert Essex

Robert Richard Essex of Salt Lake City, UT was born on December 5, 1943. He left us suddenly on January 26, 2007. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his rock of 37 years, Kathleen Essex, his children Tammy Schreiner (Rob), Shelly Schroer (Rick), Kimberly Randall (Scott), Bobby Essex (Cindy), and his sisters Shirley Day, and Carol Boren (David). He has six grandchildren, which he loved very much. He enjoyed being around his family and friends, and was very proud of serving his country. He was always a person you could count on when you needed help and was quite the ladies man. He and his wife moved to Port Orchard, Washington in January of 1994 and fell in love with their new home and vowed that this would be the place where they would live the rest of their lives. A celebration of life party will be held Saturday, February 3, at the North Mason Eagles #4226 located at NE 80 Alder Creek Lane in Belfair, WA 98528 at 1:00PM. Phone calls to the family will be accepted after that time at 360-275-6885. We want to say a special thanks to the Eagles family for their help during this difficult time. Dad always asked us not to grieve but celebrate his life and remember the good times we had with him.
