Robert Fox

Robert Fox May 23, 1929 TO April 13, 2006 VETERAN Robert C. Fox, 76, of Port Orchard died April 13 in Chandler, Ariz. He was born in Portland, Ore., to Maurice and Gertrude (Nichols) Fox. He married Dixie (McPherson) Fox in 1981. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He worked in the sprinkler industry and started Fox Automatic Sprinkler in 1965. Mr. Fox was a member of the Sprinkler Fitters Association. He enjoyed creating and teaching wood carving. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Fox; and sisters, Vivian Lange and Barbara Rassmussen. He is survived by his wife in Port Orchard; sons, Guy Fox of Belfair, Gordon Swan, Brian Swan and Ghyrn Hobson, all of Port Orchard, and Bill Hobson of Seattle; and 15 grandchildren.
