Robert Morgan

Robert Owen Morgan, 85, of Port Orchard, Washington, died April 20, 2002 at his home, following a lengthy illness.Robert was born on March 20, 1917 in Cambridge Idaho to John and Ina (York) Morgan. He attended Cambridge High School until graduation in 1935. He married Edna Lipe on November 19, 1938 in Weiser, Idaho.Robert was a parts specialist at Westbay Auto parts in Port Orchard for over 20 years. He enjoyed camping and working on cars. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Orchard.Robert is survived by his wife Edna of the family home, a son Robert D. Morgan, Jr. of Lakewood, WA, two daughters Joyce Sutton of Weiser, Idaho, and Elaine Myers of Port Orchard. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by 2 brothers and one granddaughter.Services will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on April 22, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
