Robert Petty

Robert L. "Bob" Petty died January 28, 2003 at his Port Orchard, Washington home. He died of Mesothelioma (Abestos Cancer). He was 52.He was born in Yakima, Washington April 3, 1950 to Clifford and Pauline (Wallbaum) Petty.Bob married Dianne (Anderson) Petty January 12, 1980 in Port Orchard, Washington.He graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1969. He also attended Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington.Bob worked at the Naval Shipyard for 29 years as a Rigger Supervisor in Shop 72.He enjoyed fishing and yard work -as well as NASCAR Racing.He is survived by his wife, Dianne (Anderson) Petty of Port Orchard, Washington; his mother, Pauline (Wallbaum) Petty of Port Orchard, Washington; son - Jerry Petty of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter - Jill Petty of the family home in Port Orchard; brothers - Ray Petty and Joe Petty (both of Port Orchard); sister - Gloria Erickson (and husband, Don) of Port Orchard.
