Robert "Bob" Satterthwaite of Port Orchard, Washington died of cancer on January 1, 2004 at his home. He was 55. He was born January 31, 1948 in West Seattle, Washington to Charles Erwin and Janet Satterthwaite. He married Christine A. Satterthwaite November 7, 1981 in Burien, Washington. Robert graduated from West Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington in 1967; and also graduated from Bates Voc-Tech Trade School in Tacoma, Washington in 1984. He served in the U.S. in Army as an E5. He served 10 years and was a Vietnam Veteran - awarded the Bronze Star and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry. He worked as a Hazmat Handler at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 15 years. Robert enjoyed wooden boat building; fishing; hunting; working in his yard; was a mechanic; "Jack of all trades-master of some". He is survived by his wife, Christine, of the Port Orchard, Washington family home; son - Neil Galosich of Oklahoma; daughters - Casey J. Satterthwaite of Port Orchard, Washington and Jamie C. Satterthwaite of Port Orchard, Washington; sisters - Vicki Coulter of Virginia, Janice Griffey of Federal Way, Maryann Weaver of Tahuya, Washington; cousins - Sandi (Satterthwaite) Chizek of Wyoming; Joanne (Satterthwaite) Daniel of Alabama.
