Robert G. Waldorf, 89, was received into God’s loving arms at Port Orchard, WA on April 28, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 12, 1925 to Paul & Charlotte (nee Rasey) Waldorf.
Robert was a proud veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army on Guadalcanal as a Technician Fifth Grade in the 96th Chemical Service Company. He was honorably discharged at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin on February 27, 1946. His service is memorialized at

Robert worked as a Rotogravure Printer for over 30 years at Milprint Printing, Milwaukee, WI, retiring in 1984. In retirement, he moved to Wallace, MI in 1997and enjoyed country life until relocating to Port Orchard, WA in 2011 where he gallantly struggled with the ravages of Parkinson’s Disease as a resident of Ridgemont Terrace until his death.
Robert was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Elaine (nee Hartwig) Waldorf. He is survived by wife Renata (nee Uecker) of 17 years. He was the loving Father of Shelley (Thomas) Kowalsky and Robert (Kathy) Waldorf. Proud Grandpa of Carol, Michael, Amy, Bobby, Emily, Brett and 7great-gandchildren. He was the proud and loving Step-Father of Donna (Lou) Caretti, Step-Grandfather of Wendy (Ray) Killgore, and Adela Caretti and 3 Step-great-grandchildren.
