Robert Whitehead

Robert C Whitehead was born in Coffeyville, KS to Herman and Bessie Whitehead on April 14, 1932.  In 1962 Robert married Phyllis Doty.  Robert enlisted in U.S. Navy in 1964.  Robert was a Lieutenant Commander.  While in the Navy Robert received the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, China Service Medal, Navy Occupation Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, United Nations Medal, and National Defense Service Medal.  He retired from the Navy in 1977.  Robert is survived by his wife Phyllis, sons Robert Whitehead, Michael Whitehead, daughter Donna Farris, sister Nancy Provorse, grandchildren Bryan Farris, Katie Farris, Erin Farris, and Brandon Whitehead.  Services will be Dec. 29, 1998, 10:30 a.m. at Tahoma Naitonal Cemetery in Kent, WA.
