Robert "Bob" Wright, 67, died at his home in Port Orchard, Washington on July 27, 2005. He was born on June 29, 1938 in Bell, California to Clifford E. & Furn L. (Schuler) Wright. Bob married Shirley Stewart in Port Orchard, Washington on March 15, 1975. Bob worked as a Shopkeeper in the Tool Department at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington for 20 years, retiring in 1994. He served from 1955 to 1974 in the U. S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, E7, during 4 campaigns in Vietnam. He was a submariner aboard the USS Nathan Hale SSBN-623. Bob was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association. He enjoyed reading and bowling, watching WWF on TV, and spending time with his grandkids. Surviving are his wife Shirley of the family home; sons Curtis (Danielle) Greer of West Lake, Ohio, Duane Greer of Port Orchard, Preston (Colleen) Greer of Port Orchard, James Wright of Port Orchard, and Rob (Andrea) Wright of Spokane, Washington; daughter Teri (Tim) Baker of Auburn, Washington; brother Clifford Wright of Bremerton; sisters Norma Line of Tenino, Washington and Betty Hibbard of Oroville, California; and grandchildren Megan, Tyler, Ethan, Olivia, Cory, and Abby. He was preceded in death by his first wife Viola Wright and a daughter Josephine Wright. Visitation will be at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Monday, August 1, 2005 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 11:00 am at Rill's Life Tribute Center followed by interment at 2:00 pm at Tahoma National Cemetery.
