Robert "Bob" E. Peltier

Robert "Bob" E. Peltier, 85, of Port Orchard died Monday, January 7th at St. Anthony's Hospital in Gig Harbor. Bob was born September 6, 1927 in Doylestown, PA to Arthur & Florence Peltier. He was a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. He then worked 35 years as a Machinist in Pennsylvania before retiring. Bob loved flying, he took a position at the local airport to be an air taxi pilot. His love extended to working on the aircraft as well. He took time to travel on cruise ships and piloted his own 40 foot vessel. Bob was very active, even in his later years (70's) he was seen climbing a tree using tree spikes and trimming branches with his chain saw. He is survived by his Daughter Deborah (Eric) Torrison of Port Orchard; 5 Grandchildren Christopher, Gabrielle, Sabrina, Naomi & Joel Torrison and 2 Great Granddaughters; Charleigh & Leahna.
