Rodney Allen Blowers of Port Orchard, Washington died June 14, 2005 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. He was 64. Rodney was born January 17, 1941 in Minot, North Dakota to Rollie Blowers and Mabel Johnson. He married Rogene (Nowka) Blowers March 18, 1966, Seattle,Washington. Rodney attended South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington. He served in the Army from September 1959 - 1965 attaining rank of Specialist Five E5 USAR. Rodney worked 18 years for the Kitsap County Road Department - retiring in 1988. He was a machine operator. Rodney is survived by wife - Rogene (Nowka) Blowers of Port Orchard, Washington; sons - Chance Blowers (& wife, Jennifer) of Port Orchard, Washington, Scott Blowers of Olalla, Washington, Ross Blowers (& wife, Stacey) of Bremerton, Washington; daughter - Rhonda Nelson (& husband, Bryan) of Seabeck, Washington; sisters - Grace Stead (& husband, Darrell) of Port Orchard, Washington, Delilah Neal (& husband, James) of Viera, Florida, Vivian Hooser & Betty Landman - both of Port Orchard; 5 grandchildren: Makenzie & Caden Blowers, Jacob Nelson, Brody Blowers, Ashley Nelson. A memorial service will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard on June 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.
