Rollin K. Bond, 67, known to his friends as “Bondo” or “Ron”, died in Port Orchard on September 28, 2014. He was born March 3, 1947 in Bremerton, WA to Rollin & Rosemary Bond. Rollin graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard in 1966.
Rollin retired after 20 years as a Sheet Metal Worker at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton. He also worked as a Brush Picker and setup mobile homes for Hunts. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a great pool and dart player.
Surviving are daughters Cheryl (Brian) Hassett of Silverdale, Washington and Cathy Bond (Rick Leenstra) of Gig Harbor, Washington; sisters Fran (Ron) Rees of Kirkland, Washington and Sharon Hamilton of Bremerton; grandchildren Tyler, Kevin & Brittney Hassett, Ryan (Emilee) & Nikala Rose Bond; great-grandchildren Nova Railyn, Gauge & Blake.
Graveside Service at 1:00pm on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
