Ronald "Ron" Earl Dewitt, 79, of Seattle, Washington, passed away on January 06, 2025. He was born September 29, 1945 to Matilda Hodavanice and Paul Dewitt of New Jersey.
He married his wife Asteria "Aster" Ceballos, a Filipina on June 27, 1983 at Pasay City, Philippines. He has (one) son, Fellogean who passed away in 2024. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Aster, his sister in laws Lucy and Primitiva, his brother in law, Ely and his many nephews, nieces and grand children.
Ron was an Army Veteran and he served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was a sea farer for almost 40 years until he retired, after his service in the Army. He spent most of his time collecting books of different genre but mostly from James Patterson and Sidney Sheldon. If he wasn't reading books, he loved to go out and drink a bottle or two of beer with his friends. If in Seattle, lots of Miller Highlife at Shortys. He often brags about not experiencing winter for the longest time as he often spends the second half of the year in the Philippines with his family. He fondly shares his Vietnam war experiences with his nieces and nephews. He really loves folgers coffee and can easily take two (2) HHHHUUUGGGEEEE mugs in the morning for his breakfast. He is very fond with little children. He is the Santa Claus every christmas giving candies and chocolates to the street children. He loves his family so much and very supportive with all his nephews and friends. Ron is deeply loved and missed by his family.
