Ronald Jillson

Ronald S. Jillson, 65, died at his home in Port Orchard July 14, 2008.  He was born February 13, 1943 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to Elmer & Edna (Boettcher) Jillson.  He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1961 and married Glenda Reese on March 31, 1973.  She preceded him in death in 2006. Ronald retired as a Postal Clerk in Cupertino, California after 20 years.  He was also employed at Fred Meyer in Port Orchard.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. Surviving are Step-sons Scott (Mary) Ballard of Litchfield, New Hampshire and Jeffrey Ballard of Portland, Oregon; step-daughter Laura (Richard) Callahan of Clarksville, Maryland; brother Gene (Wanda) Jillson of Devine, Texas; and sisters Nancy Walters of Denison, Texas and Sandra Smith of Horicon, Wisconsin.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Warren, Gerald and Roger Jillson. Visitation from Noon to 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 17th at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard with a Celebration of Life Service at 9:30am on Friday, July 18, 2008.
