Ronald H. Wilson, 53, of Port Orchard, WA, died March 23, 2006 at his home of colon cancer. Ron was born Feb. 17, 1953 in Portland, OR to Howard and Mary Lou (Doring) Wilson. He graduated from Madison HS in Portland in 1971 and then from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA in 1976 with a degree in education. Ron married Judi Thompson on April 12, 1980 in Bellevue, WA. He worked as a sales executive for 29 years and was well respected in the packaging, graphic arts and printing industries throughout the greater Seattle and Tacoma area. Ron also enjoyed a brief career selling custom fly fishing equipment which enabled him to travel and fish throughout the East Coast and southern regions of the US. Ron enjoyed crabbing, fishing, camping, coaching youth sports, walking his 3 dogs Pluto, Sophie, and Beau at the Howe Farm, and traveling with his family. He is survived by his wife Judi, of Port Orchard; son Anthony, of Ellensburg, WA; daughter Bailey, of Port Orchard; parents Howard and Mary Lou Wilson, of Portland, OR; brothers David Wilson and wife Autumn, of Clackamas, OR, and Gary Wilson and wife Georgina, of Lakewood, WA; and sister Sue Conway and husband Mike, of Washougal, WA. Memorial services will be held Sat, April 1, 1PM, at the Manchester State Park covered day-use facility in Manchester, WA. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Kitsap County, PO Box 3416, Silverdale, WA 98383.
