Rose Brose

Rose Brose, 87 of Port Orchard, died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton on April 23, 1999.  She was born August 15, 1911 in Forman, North Dakota to Peter Henry & Katherine (Schmidt) Loch.  Rose was raised in Pinewood, Minnesota graduating from Pinewood High School.  She married Ted Brose, Sr. on March 16, 1931 in Bemidji, Minnesota.  He preceded her in death in 1973.Mrs. Brose was a Homemaker and member of Elim Lutheran Church in Port Orchard.She is survived by sons Orville Brose of Republic, Washington, Ted Brose, Jr. of Port Orchard, and LeRoy Brose of Merrill, Wisconsin; daughters Randi Barrie of Port Orchard and Beverly Holloway of Witchita Falls, Texas; brother Frank (Isadore) Loch of Bemidji, Minnesota, Jim Loch, Al Loch, and Andy Loch all of Port Orchard; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by daughter Hjordis Ames.Visitation will be at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard on Wednesday, March 28th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Funeral Service at Elim Lutheran Church in Port Orchard on Thursday, March 29, 1999 at 1:00 PM with interment following at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.  Memorials to American Heart Association, 4414 Woodland Park Avenue N, Seattle, WA 98103 OR Elim Lutheran Church, 5911 Hillcrest Drive, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
