Roy Dale Mcalexander

December 1, 1939 — January 13, 2016

Roy Dale McAlexander passed away on January 13, 2016 due to complications from Alzheimer’s.
Roy was born to Oliver and Nellie McAlexander on December 1, 1939 in Denison, Kansas.

After graduating from Denison High School he served four years in the Navy. After the Navy he had worked at Ford Motor Company, Boeing, and Goodyear Tire plant before working for South Kitsap School District where he was known as “Mr. Roy”. He had retired from the school district after working there for 23 years.

He married Faye Wilkinson in 1996 and it was then that our families came together as one.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Oliver Junior, sister Mildred Lester and grandson Aaron Doud.

He is survived by his wife Faye, son Lonnie McAlexander, daughters Kelly (Wayne) Jacobson, Wanda (Stan) Spiry, Shonna Trejo, Stacy (David) Hart, Tracy (Chris) Wheeler, 22 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by brothers Harold McAlexander and Harvey (Pam) Wells, sisters Helen Rice, Levita Evandorf and Minnie (Joe) Mulford.

He had the love for cars, dogs, eagles, photography, Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs, but most importantly family.

The family would like to thank the staff of Harrison Medical Center for the care of our loved one in his final days, as well as the many year of care given by Dr. Ryan Gross and his staff.
