Roy Valverde Trevino

Roy Valverde Trevino passed away peacefully with his wife Nettie by his side in their home in Allyn, Washington after a long battle with cancer.
Roy was born September 6, 1949 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents Roy Paz and Magdalena Trevino. Roy attended school and college in San Diego.
After working for the Government in San Diego, he transferred to Bremerton Naval Shipyard where he retired as a project inspector.
He married Nettie Slagle on April 10, 1995 and blended their families. They lived together until the time of his death in Allyn.
Roy had a love for the outdoors; he was an avid fisherman in all sense of the word. Those who knew his passion for life knew it always centered around his love for his wife and family.
Roy was a man loved and respected by many. Those lives he touched are truly blessed to have known him.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents – Roy Paz Trevino and Magdalena Valverole Trevino.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Trevino of Allyn, WA, pets Chico, Chich, and Smiley; Brother René (Carla, Becky) Trevino, Sister Blanca Trevino, Daughter Maria Trevino all from San Diego; Son Christopher (Angi) Trevino, Children Romen, Preston & Kimber; Son Patrick (Chris) Trevino, Children Annabelle, David & Ryker; Stepchildren (Nettie’s) Jim (Kelly) Slagle of Lynden, WA, Grandpups Maddie, Luna & Allie; Melissa (John) Lewis of Helena, MT, Children Kate, Jackson, Luke; numerous relatives on his side and a large extended family of his wife Netties.
A celebration of Life will be set for a later time to give the family time to heal as per requested by Roy.
The family would like to extend a special and grateful thanks to Providence Sound Home Care and Hospice Care Team for the support and loving hands that so graciously cared for not only Roy but his precious wife Nettie.
Special love to Nurse Seth Tate, Assistant Nurse Aid Melissa, Ken Rodrick, Wendy Katz and Lisa McCulloush.
