Ruby Connell

Ruby Lillian Connell, 92, of Port Orchard died at Harrison Memorial Hospital on January 24, 1999.  She was born October 9, 1906 to George & Della (Brown) Rexer in Brownsville, Illinois and raised in Missouri & Arkansas.  She married A.B. Connell in Little rock, Arkansas in January of 1926.  Mr. Connell preceded her in death in 1966.Ruby worked for 17 years before retiring as a Nurse with the Los Angeles County Sanitarium.  She enjoyed cooking and her family.Surviving are granddaughters Bonnie Collins of Port Orchard and Patricia Brynie of Bremerton; 3 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.Private family services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands, California.
