Ruby was born January 31, 1925 in Clifton, Kansas to parents Ernst Carlson from Sweden and Edith Lundberg Carlson. She passed away May 1, 2011 in Port Orchard, Washington at the age of 86 years. She was a member of the Kitsap Kansas Club. She attended church at the Belfair Assembly of God. She is survived by her husband Charles W. (Bill) Huffman; sons Doug LeDoux, Clark LeDoux and Charles LeDoux, and daughter Charmayne LeDoux. She was preceded in death by son Bruce LeDoux. She is also survived by stepdaughters Jan Hendricks, Robin Blackburn, Mary Huffman and Lisa Micone. She was blessed with 27 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. A sister, Audrey Havel, also survives. Preceeding her in death were her sisters Helen Rogge and Norma Regnier and brother Willis Carlson. Ruby was a much beloved wife and mother. She dedicated her life to raising her five children and opening her home for anyone in need. Ruby's life served as a spiritual witness of her faith in Jesus Christ. Her frequent laughter and giving heart endeared her to anyone whom she met. She was an amazing twirler of batons, climber of trees and leader of conga lines. She will be dearly missed. A private service will be held.
