Ruby Smith

Ruby N. Smith, Age: 76, resident of Olalla, Washington, died from complications of cancer, on August 24, 2001 at Belmont Terrace Nursing Home in Bremerton, Washington.She had been born on August 20, 1925 in Howard's Ridge, Missouri, to James W. Beaver and Esther Leora (Henry) Beaver.On July 17, 1953 she married Albert H. Smith Senior in Port Orchard, Washington. He died in 1993. Mrs. Smith dedicated her life to being a Homemaker. She is survived by sons, Jack Smith of Olalla, Washington; Albert H. Smith Jr., of Poulsbo, Washington; Randall D. Smith of Sterling, Virginia; Paul D. Smith of Bremerton, Washington; Kenneth K. Smith of Granite Falls, Washington; and one daughter, Mary R. Burch of Bremerton. She also had fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.A graveside memorial will be held in Ruby's honor at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, August 29, 2001, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton.Funeral arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home in Port Orchard, Washington.
