Russell E. Daniels

Russell E. 'Bud' Daniels, 61, died at his home in Bremerton October 22, 1998.  He was born on March 3, 1937 in Shelton, WA and grew up in Belfair.  He married the former Katherine Engelbrekt in Lakebay, WA on June 9, 1956.  In his early years Mr. Daniels worked as a Logger and again in later years for Simpson Timber Company in the Plywood Plant.  He also worked as a Machinist for Arcair Machine Company and for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard where he retired in 1974.  He loved fishing, hunting,  and boating in Belfair and the Hood Canal area.Survived by his wife; sons David and Michael of Everett and Glenn of Port Orchard; daughter Jacqueline Carroll of The Dalles, OR; Step Brothers Daniel Stanger of Prosser and Rodney Stanger of Tacoma; sister Marge Powell of Sumner and Step Sister Della Thornton of Lima, MT; 6 Grandchildren & 4 Step Grandchildren. Services Wednesday October 28, 1998 at 1 PM at Belfair Community Baptist Church.  Memorials to National Multiple Sclerosis Society  or American Diabetes Association.
