Russell Alfred Krager

November 8, 1920 — April 25, 2017

We are sad to announce that Russ Krager of Port Orchard, Washington passed away on April 25, 2017. He was 96 years old, and lived a long, well lived life. He was born in Steator, Illinois on November 8, 1920.
Russ served his country in the US Navy for 20 years and then in civil service at Keyport for 10 years, retiring in Bremerton, which he called home since 1958.
He was very involved in The Independent Order of Odd Fellows since he was in the Orphanage as a child and also loved gardening and camping. A special memory is the yearly camping trips at Lake Crescent with family. He was a devoted father and Pop-pop (Grandfather) and cherished his family.
He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Lodge Brother and friend.
Russ is survived by his daughters Karen Webster and Sarita Ringos; four Granddaughters Jennifer, Tara, Katie & Holly and one Grandson John Ringos.
A Memorial Service will be Saturday May 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Jackson Park Chapel, Bremerton, Washington.
