Ruth Elizabeth (Sowell) Brooks, 101 of Bremerton, died June 2, 2016. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on June 23, 1914.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Maxwell Brooks; parents William Lewis Sowell and Georgia Narcissus Dearing; and son-in-law Gerald Frank Woehrle. She and Max had 4 children William (Sandra) Brooks, J.P. Max Brooks, Mary (Gerald) Woehrle, and Kathleen Hartlieb; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was a wonderful lady and she will be missed. She was truly loved by all that knew her. God be with you.
