Ruth Lemons

Ruth Jean Lemons, 74 of Port Orchard, WA died July 23, 2007 in Poulsbo, WA. She was born in Pine Bluffs, WY November 6, 1932 to Loyal & Edith (Evert) Oliver. She married Jay D. Lemons April 10, 1950 in Galeton, CO. Ruth was a strong Christian woman and a servant of all. She loved to sew, garden, and renovate houses. She loved ceramics and formerly owned a ceramic shop called "The Lemon Tree Ceramics" in Ripon CA. Surviving are husband Jay, son Stephen (Jymme Lynn) of Port Orchard; daughters Beverly (Mark) North of Tulsa, OK, Julie (Mike) Highberger of Sterling, CO, Ivy (Todd) Hanna of Port Orchard; & Heather (Chris) Larson of Kingston, WA; sisters Esther (Russell) Saxton of Boulder, CO, Marilyn Kreps of Colorado Springs, CO, & Judy (Stanley) Leslie of Youngtown, AZ; grandchildren Sacha, Jay, Shane, Tabitha, Amber, John, Christina, Ben, Sarah, Tim, Jessica & Paul; great-grandchildren Joseph, Daisy & Damian. She was preceded in death by her daughter Bonnie. Memorial service 4:00 pm on July 28, 2007 at Abundant Life Foursquare Church in Bremerton.
